Sausage Masala, a fusion recipe

For this Sausage Masala Indian Style  Recipe, you can use any type of sausage you get in the shops. I would prefer plain skinless chicken sausages for this recipe.
Even Frankfurters, hot dogs can be used for this recipe. Try this out to have the taste of tantalising indian garam masala as well as the sausages / frankfurters. You can take this as a side dish along with rice  / chappathis.

6-8 Sausages
 1 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
1 tsp garlic Paste

How to prepare Sausage Masala Indian style
Cook the whole sausages in a little water, flip them if needed , to get them cooked evenly.
Drain the water and cut them into thick rounds. Keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and saute till they are golden brown. Add ginger paste, garlic paste  and pinched curry leaves. saute for a minute or two and add the chopped tomatoes.
Stir till the tomatoes turn soft and pulpy. Mash well.
Add the chilli powder, coriander powder,  and a teaspoon of any readymade garam masala powder. Cook till the oil starts leaving the masala.
